Today the little island of New Britian was rocked by a 7.0 quake. and this region of the pacific plate has been racking like crazy lately. When you look at the squares the large one to the left is a 6.4 quake. The quakes around the principle one registered as 5.1, 5.1, 5.2, and 5.6. This on top of so many recent quakes, check out my post of 22 JUL 10.
It's really an amazing set of quakes on a specific place short of a new volcano erupting....
