The Winter 2011 Virginia Quarterly Review puts its focus on essays and images by 10 emerging photographers. This is a completely brilliant magazine, and this issue is it's debut after the tragic suicide of its long-time managing editor Kevin Morrissey. In the early days after his death, some saw the end of this amazing magazine. I for one am so thankful that it has seen itself as greater than one person. And as a tribute to any member VQR lives on with style and grace.
