Indian Subcontinent: The Birds

One reason for the hiatus between my last introduction of an Orb from my zoo and this one is the amount of time I've spent buried in research over a place that I know in only a very superficial way. Among my most happy discoveries has been the wide range of bird-life: Beautiful Birds! In selecting only 15 to represent, I have run the gamut from the iconic Peafowl to the ubiquitous and colorful Coppersmith Barbet, to the more regionally isolated Chestnut-Bellied Sandgrouse. Visitors to this Orb ought to be thrilled by the flashes of colors and the melodious songs of the birds living here.
