The orb recreates some of the mysterious archipelago known as the Galapagos Islands in four distinctive islands. Visitors will be able to get a sense of some of the amazing flora and fauna unique to this famous eco-system.
The orb has a width of 423 meters and a height of 164 meters. The expansive air space is given to benefit the large number of birds that inhabit the orb. Attached to this orb is a study center dedicated to the history and science of evolution.
Many different images from the Galapagos were used to support a diverse, inclusive, and realistic landscape for the islands that make up this orb.
The orb is located on the south central edge of the zoo.
