Galapagos Island's Orb: The Reptiles

Given such an insulated eco-system, the number of reptiles even possible to include can be--like other Animal Classes--counted on one's fingers and toes. I have included members of the three most common species Giant Tortoises, and both Land and Marine Iguanas. Along with these, are less renowned reptiles found on and around the islands.

While the Galapagos Giant Tortoise is possibly the most famous of all animals found on the Pacific Ocean Archipelago, it is, in fact, a species with arguably 10-7 living sub-species. Five of which call Isabella Island home. This particular subspecies is found exclusively on Santa Cruz Island.
