World Watch: Earthquakes

Here's a map of the world that I lifted from the USGS site. It shows all the earthquake activity around the world for the past 7 days in yellow, past 24 hours in blue and past 60 minutes in red. The larger the quake, the larger the square.

Here's the thing. I check in on this site nearly daily and have been doing so for the past 15 or so years, and this is as calm a week as the earth has experienced in well over a year. Cool? or calm before the storm? Hmmmm....
