London Olympics Redux: Cycling - Road


Highlight: Alexandr Vinokurov of Kazakhstan won his nation's first Gold of the olympics and it's first medal in Cycling - Road. Colombia's Rigoberto Uran-Uran captured the Silver medal and achieved the same feat at these games and in this sport for Columbia. Two nation's that faired well in this sport in 2008 Beijing were noticeably medal-less this time around: Switzerland and Sweden. Great Britian demonstrated the greatest overall dominance in the sport of CYCLING - ROAD.
