Audrey, my beloved Tree Philodendron has migrated back to her summer home on the deck. She came to me in 1992 when I lived in Kentucky and she moved from there to here with me in 1994. She started out in a small planter--I could have juggled her with a hatchet and a bowling ball when she first arrived. Now she is HUGE--and weighs nearly 80 pounds. She spends her winters in the house and summers on the deck.
Audrey doesn't live alone. She shares her container with a fern who has also used the winter to spread. And an impatiens that is now 3 years old.
