Rotations On A Theme

I took this photo of a leaf taken by friend Rod, who lives in Australia--so it's an Australian leaf of some sort and I dissected from it a set of four square details that seemed interesting to me.

Then I took them and placed them quadrants and then rotated them in a kaleidoscope fashion to create something new.
