Rainy Day = Lego Fun!

Back on October 25th when my kitchen sink and dishwasher backed up and overflowed through the ceiling in the basement--THIS section of Lego City was inundated and had to be torn down and rebuilt to be well cleaned. The buildings are all modular, so it was not a "brick by brick" disassembling. But the washing and cleaning and drying was all fun!

When I reassembled this building I took the opportunity to complete the ground floor into a doctor's office, and then each of the floors above into a single apartment.

This was the original structure that got me started down this path. Purchased from Lego, it was a simpler single three story structure with no interior. I combined two of them for a more interesting structure, but never did anything to the interior, until this opportunity.

The first floor has a "bumble bee" powder room under the stairs, a dining room and a kitchen.

Kitchen detail with the major range.

Kitchen detail of the sink.

Dining room with table and candles and sideboard with golden goblets.

The color on this one is way OFF, but it was the best photo of the second floor with the living space.

At some point, I decided that this would be my Lego City home and so it has an aquarium! And the color of the tan bricks is correct in this photo.

A desk for writing letters and packages in the corner!

Third floor with on suite bath, bedroom and art studio.

Bedroom with bed and the little art studio with paint, brushes, and easel.

And the bathroom.
