Summer Vacation Redux #8: Omaha: Henry Doorly Zoo, part 11 of 11

After 7 hours at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska it was time to plan my last minutes there.  I chose a visit to the Grewcock Butterfly & Insect Pavilion; being a structure that was also a mini Plant Conservatory.  As such it was a treasure trove of photo opportunities and led out to the exit with a chance to view one more animal: the Okapi.

Okapi, Okapia johnstoni.

Final thoughts would include just how wonderful a zoo this one is.  And, yes, I didn't like all of it--but seriously, it's so immense and has so many animals--perhaps even 15% that I never got to see; yet, I have never been a zoo that is comparable in its totality.  And that will be the final word.
