Shooting at the London Olympics became a battle of two Asian nations. China has been slowly building its reputation in this sport, and then Korea came out of nowhere to just edge them out by attaining the same index score with only Gold and Silver medals. The United States did well. For the fifth Olympics in a row Kin Rhodes has medaled. Qatar won its first medal in the sport in the history of the Olympics.
