Summer Vacation Redux #6: Kansas City: Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, part 4 of 9

Visiting the Noguchi Court with contemporary sculptures was the final visit in my tour of the Bloch Building of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.

This pair of seemingly simple water fountain sculptures by Isamu Noguchi (American) 1904 - 1988, completely transformed this space into a sanctuary of sorts.  The track of the bed that moves beyond the interior space to the sculpture gardens without create a sense of being both their but somehow just here, too.  It was magical.
