My Assistant Gardener

 Goldenstar, Chrysogonom virginianum. Native from Pennsylvania and West Virginia south to Florida and Louisiana--the Goldenstar is an American native and the only species in this genus.

Wild Geranium, Geranium maculatum, a wonderful woodland flower that can be found from Manitoba and Quebec south to Alabama and Georgia and west to Oklahoma and South Dakota.
Yellow Ragwort, Jacobaea vulgaris, and purple Money Plant, Lunaria annua.
