Movies are complex critters and their personalities depend on lots of variables. Ergo we remember them for lots of reasons. "Big Night" ought to be remembered for the amazing ensemble of actors and their subsequent chemisty. The music is great, the sets perfect, the cinematography creative and subtle. But the ensemble! Bravissimo!
