Attached to this Orb is a herpatorium devoted to the care and display of various and venomous snakes who call the Indian Subcontinent home. Chief among them is the King Cobra. Placing snakes in a separate isolated eco-system is not the preferred application of the principles of my zoo, but doing so acknowledges both their importance as a group of species and their threat to the lives of the humans charged with care-taking the Orb as a whole. In such isolation, these animals enjoy spacious and natural settings designed to provide authentic stimulation and intriguing encounters with other animals.
