Global Pride Extravaganza!

One of the most recognizable symbols on the planet is the Rainbow flag and its association the GayLesbianBisexualTransgender people, commonly lumped together under the acronym GLBT. I am a lump in that group and it's not the flag that gives me pride, it's the diversity that it represents. It's my tribe. Here are a series of images of members of my tribe celebrating with Pride. It covers a wide selection of Pride Parades. Some, many, are first time events. Some are old hat. Some occur in the midst of broad toleration, other in places where the participates are literally risking their lives. Such courage humbles me, while the tide of evolution and tolerance gives me great hope. Enjoy!
