Kaleidoscope: Rod And Me

These are made from details taken from my friend Rod's photographs. He and I have never met. He lives in Australia and here in the States But he takes amazing photographs, and I've taken in interest in "kaleidoscoping" them!

This is a series of two sets of four. The detail in each set is the same, just shifted by 90˚. I call it:

"Signs of Spring --

-- Thoughs of Autumn"

I love these, Randy!

Your taking works of art and turning them into another form of art.

The "kaleidoscope effect" is super cool looking!

What made you decide play around with your friend's pics in this way?

Thanks for sharing!

Hey Dean, It was just something I saw in them. I've down the same with photos I've taken. Rod has such a wonderful eye for color and composition. Here's a link to some I made from autumn leave photos. http://randuwa.blogspot.com/2011/11/autumn-kalidescopes.html
