Maryland Zoo Redux #8 - The Maryland Aviary

On to the second Aviary--the Maryland Aviary.  This is a rather unassuming place that I have no doubt others glance at and then bypass.  And that's to their loss.  An ample sanctuary for a range of birds from ducks and herons to a crane and a vulture, the opportunity to experience these birds up close and personal is amazing.  Here I share with you from experiences some of the ducks: Northern Pintail. Woodduck and Marbled Teals.  Along with some very beautiful and sleepy Black-crowned Night Herons, A pair of Little Blue Herons industriously constructing their nest and a love Green Heron.
