Low budget and amateurish films have from the mid 1980's proliferated on the "Independent Film" network first haphazardly and then as part of an actual Independent Film Network. Most of these puppies failed. Here's a dog that has won my heart."Finding North" not only gives a couple of beautiful performances from the principle actors, but tells a story with a redemptive heart and tons of moxie.
I really love this little film. Right time, right place, perhaps; but, I think it's more powerful than even karma.
