Of course, Romeo took advantage of the morning's warmth and the leaves musty aroma to find a place to nap before the winter's blast arrived around 2 pm.  Bye bye Indian Summer!

 Is it any wonder that I LOVE these little stalwarts of the cold weather garden?  And here on this day I couldn't exactly tell who was vying for my attention and delight more: the flower's blossoms or the tree's fallen leaves!  Enjoy!

 Visited the shops in downtown Takoma Park and my found this in my favorite little Tchotchke shop. It seemed like the perfect token for this year's election, because no matter what happens, pigs might just fly!
