What do the two shaded regions of Virginia have in common?
Together, they represent half of the states entire population AND each on its own is home to 25% of the state's population. In other words, the same number of people live in both areas. So when you see maps colored in red and blue and red covers a larger area, don't assume it means that there are more people living there. Our democracy is founding in people NOT soil.
