Every time I step into the silly, delightful little deck
"zoo" garden I am delighted by one of my many plants in
particular--this odd little cactus. I've never owned a cactus before I
purchased this one two years ago. I've no prior experience with them. And so
this little guy's robust growth now in it's third iteration is just fascinating
to me. It's like the volunteer Torenia fournieri that has sprouted up all
around it seemingly from nowhere swamping the poor Griffon Vulture and
scorpion! All under the watchful eyes of the Snowy Owl....
