I have a handful of favorite T-shirts. They are generally
made from high quality cotton and have stood the test of time. One is from the
2015 Cherry Blossom Festival here in DC, another is from the Los Angeles
Integrity Chapter of the LGBTQ advocacy organization in the Episcopal Church.
But my favorite came from the Greater Cleveland Aids Task Force. It was a gift
from a dear friend that makes it all the more special to me. Its message is
blatant in one respect and subtle in another--and whenever I'm feeling
especially cheeky and subversive, I don it and do my public commerce. It never
fails to illicit a constant stream of reactions. And I love it!
