A morality tale/Fairy tale called "Sissy Frenchfry". It's an independent short about a high school where everyone is valued, an outcast's Utopia. Until one day a new kid shows up, Brody McDody, and he's disgusted and bewildered by the status quo. Backed my corrupt corporate interests (his father), he uses his charm to create a constituency by appealing to key individuals at West Beach High's basest instincts. Soon, all the misfits are disenfranchised by the mob mentality created by this interloper. And yet, in the last hour before all is lost, the courage of our hero, Sissy Frenchfry, saves the day.
This is 30 minutes of delightful filmmaking. The role of the Principal whose surname is Principle is played by Emmy Award winning actor Leslie Jordan, a.k.a. "Beverly Leslie" from Will & Grace. And the title role is played by a charming actor, Steven Mayhew. You'll really enjoy this one. It's clearly a metaphor for our present political woes, but also offers delightful and hilarious surprises, like when the cheerleaders break into their salute to Indian American Heritage Week a la Ballywood! Very cleaver and very endearing.
