Nothing like a pair of shorts to cleanse the palate.
Vanilla by Joseph Graham is the top bill on the DVD, but it fails to deliver even an inkling of what the cover blurbs describes. It's not horrible, but certainly forgettable.
The companion piece is A Little Comfort. In it's original french, Juste un Peu de Réconfort is placed on as a side B offering yet clearly is the superior movie. It is a sweet coming of age story about a gay teen who's friends are like teenagers everywhere. Not exactly a sympathetic crowd, but one with at least one surprise in it. It's a wonderful short film.
