Santa Came Early!

A package from the United Kingdom arrived today with this wonderful Holiday present inside.  It was purchased by a dear friend who lives in Kentucky and had the seller ship it directly to me.  What an amazing world we now live in.  Thank you Jan!

And here's the best part.  Before going to bed last evening, I read an article in the New York Times about the current David Hockney retrospective at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco.  I then spent some time imagining a trip out there to see it.  And this is the thing about chaos, it isn't always evil.

While the book is full of paintings, I actually found the sketches most enchanting.
