June is the month for weddings, and here are some pictures from a wedding that my friend Mary (priest) officiated at a blessing after the civil ceremony that was held in Connecticut.

The gentlemen exchanging vows are Scott and Michael. Scott dons one sexy kilt! Flow easy my latent Scottish blood... As a gay man, seeing these photos is a wonderful reminder just how far we've come in this country. And while you may stumble upon a wonderful event like this one in New England or D.C. or Des Moines, we still have a ways to go. But how fantabulous it is to be able to stop and rejoice.
