The Maryland Zoo focuses on animals from Africa and North America. As such it does not have Tigers, Amur Leopards, Snow Leopards or Pallas cats. It does have African Lions, an African Leopard, Cheetahs, (a Serval that I have NEVER EVER SEEN) and a newly added Bobcat (which I have)! The lions are kept in a habitat that you can only see through large tinted, filthy plexiglass. This is actually fine for seeing, but lousy for photographing. So the enjoyment of the two males and one female African Lion today was left to my memory only. Both the Leopard and Cheetahs are sometimes out, and more often not. Today, no Leopard. Today, two Cheetahs! Sleepy Cheetahs...
