Maryland Zoo @ Baltimore: Black-footed African Penguins
Also known as Jackass Penguins, the colony at the Maryland Zoo is the most prolific breeding colony in the nation, and the facilities are among the finest in the world. These playful, sweet birds are top among the zoo's Species Survival Plan participants. It's an amazing place to see these animals.
